Macquarie Cup

The school participates in a weekly Macquarie Cup Soccer and Netball Competition held during Terms 2 and 3, competing against other schools - Independent, Catholic and public.

Tournament of the Minds

St Benedict’s enters a team annually in this inquiry and problem solving competition.

Coding Club

Each Friday afternoon a number of students work with the teacher librarian to complete various coding activities.

Public Speaking Competition

St Benedict’s enters the Regional Public Speaking Competition. An in-school competition is held in order to elect stage representatives to represent our school. Stage 1 students deliver a prepared speech. Stage 2 and 3 deliver a prepared and impromptu speech. Parents are invited and trophies and certificates are presented at the conclusion of the competition.

Students are encouraged to enter these competitions, with awards and certificates distributed at assembly.
