Student Wellbeing Update
Culture and Wellbeing Lessons At St Benedict's
Throughout last term and this term, our students have been taking part in special activities that focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and wellbeing. These lessons help all children learn about respect, connection, and feeling strong in themselves and their community.
Through fun and meaningful activities like yarning circles, art inspired by Country, and learning local language words, students are building a deeper understanding of Aboriginal culture. We’ve also explored what wellbeing means—talking about feelings, family, and how we can support each other.
These experiences are helping our students grow in confidence, kindness, and cultural awareness. We’re proud of the way they’ve embraced these lessons and look forward to sharing more throughout the term.
